Use the chart below to calculate the amount of calories you burn for various physical activities. The chart uses a 30 minute activity period but you can adjust the calorie up or down in proportion to your activity level. Activities include everything from walking to volleyball.

For example, if you take a fast walk at 4 mph for 15 minutes and you weigh 200 pounds, divide the chart value, 246 in this case, by half to get a calorie burn of 123.
