Dear Editor,
I gained 40 pounds over the last 4 months
due to overeating and not having time to exercise. I've
recently gone back to a low fat diet and started exercise again but
after several weeks, I haven't lost a pound. I'm disappointed and I need
a quick fix. What should I do?
Need Help
Losing weight is not a quick fix proposition. Continue to exercise and
eat 3 to 5 meals a day. Eliminate junk food and don't starve yourself to
lose weight. Be patient, the weight will come off. Most people get
disappointed AND GIVE UP because the weight doesn't magically fall off
within a few weeks. Your body needs time to adjust. Eating habits are extremely powerful. Develop a habit of eating meals that are planned and nothing more. This will help guard against and binging. An excellent way to guard against compulsive overeating is to have a good diet plan that allows you plenty of flexibility. We specialize in personal diet plans that help you lose 1 to 2 pounds each week. To get started, please click personal diet plan.
