Dear Editor, What is the best diet to flush fat? I would like to lose 50 pounds and most of the fat is around my hips and buttocks. Is there away to spot reduce in this area? Please help me. I really need advice on how to get rid of this ugly fat. ~~ Susan Dear Susan The best fat flush diet and program we can recommend is to cut your overall calorie consumption by 25% and ride a stationary bike at a moderate speed for 30 minutes a day. Though you did not specify your current height or weight, most women should eat between 1200 and 1400 calories per day to lose a pound of fat per week. Your fat flushing diet plan doesn't have to be anything special. Stay within your calorie range and try to avoid junk carbs. Don't skip meals and eat small "between meal" snacks to keep your energy level high. This method will also help fight the temptation to snack on junk food. To flush the maximum amount of fat from your body, exercise at a pace that keeps your heart rate between 50% to 60% of it's maximum. If you're 40 years old, your heart rate during exercise should be about 130 beats per minute. You will lose weight throughout your body and not in one trouble spot. You may want to invest in an inexpensive heart rate monitor. We also recommend stationary biking because you can do it anytime and usually in front of the TV watching your favorite program. Combine diet and exercise to
flush fat and you'll lose all the weight you want.
