Dear Editor,
I heard about a free list of
negative calorie foods that will make me lose weight.
Eating foods with a negative calorie seems too good to
be true. What's your opinion?
Dear Reader,
To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you take in so a free list of negative calorie foods would seem appropriate to losing weight. But do foods contain negative calorie? The answer is no. All foods contain calorie and obviously some foods contain more calories than others. The trick is to eat less calorie than you burn. To lose weight, you should eat 25% to 30% less calorie than your body burns. This will produce a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds each week.
Instead of searching for foods that
contain negative calorie ( which does not exist ),
write down a list of foods you plan to eat for the day
and stay within a calorie limitation to produce weight
loss. For most women, the calorie range to lose weight
is 1200 to 1400 calories. Most men should stay within
1500 to 1800 calories to lose weight.
Free yourself from the hype and
stick to a reasonable diet plan to lose weight.
Portion control is essential to calorie control and a
well design plan will help you lose weight. Most
people can create their own diet plan based on foods
they prefer. Buy a calorie counter mini-book so you
know the calorie content of each food you eat.
