up her metabolism and lose weight. She wants to lose over 50-70 pounds.
She takes Meridia but she also wants to exercise.

Dear Help,
One of the best exercise to increase metabolism and speed up
weight loss is
to walk at a continuous fast pace for 20 to 40 minutes a day, 5 days per week. Any exercise that will get your heart rate to 60 - 70% max rate (fast enough to talk while exercising but not sing) and last a minimum of 20 minutes is considered aerobic
and is great for increasing the metabolism.
Aerobic exercises whether cycling, walking, jogging, sports that require continuous motion will work. The real issue is to make exercise a part of your daily life. Make time each day to exercise and try to make it fun.
Walking at a fast pace for 30 minutes gives you time to reflect on life plus it's easy to do everyday.
Don't believe the hype about using
supplements to speed up the rate you burn calories
(metabolism) ..... They don't work and they have
never been proven. Only by moving around more and
increasing your activity level can your body burn more
calories and therefore increase your metabolism.
It's also a myth that certain foods
will raise your metabolism. Again, the only proven way to
burn more calories is to increase or speed up your activity
level.
